This video pack is intended to teach you how to make your own guitars in Aspire or VCarve.
The content of these videos does not follow a step by step of the same guitar model from start to finish.
The reason for this is because each guitar you are going to make will have different situations and just following the process of a single guitar will not make you know how to make any one.
It would be very convenient for me to make a step by step video showing me making just one guitar.
It is well known that free video creators are comfortable with presenting a guitar that flows easily on their screen. That's because this one has already made this guitar and already knows what to do.
But when you are going to apply these same techniques on a totally different guitar, you will certainly experience enormous difficulty.
This series of short and objective videos was made to introduce you to the main features we use in Vectric's software to make a guitar.
You'll learn how each feature works and as you make your own guitar model, you'll know what to do because you know each of the software's tools well.
VCarve is identical to Aspire being different from it for not having the modeling tools.
The following modules are for Aspire or VCarve, but because they have many features in common, it was difficult to separate one tutorial from the other.
Except for the modules where the top image have not VCarve logo, they will not be useful for VCarve.
But anyway, it's interesting to know the differences between Aspire and VCarve in terms of curiosity and learning.

Aspire is not 3D software but 2.5D software.
Unfortunately they don't make this very clear and many people after buying it note that it will not be possible to make bodies and especially necks the correct way due to lack of resources.
It is possible to have satisfactory results with Aspire regarding necks, but almost always something after machining will have to be done to arrive at a desired finish.
If you want a complete and affordable software I recommend Moi3D.
Why Moi3D?
With it you will make all your guitars in a very intuitive way.
Its surfaces have excellent fluidity and the welds between the different parts that make up the neck and body shapes are very smooth.
Its interface is clean and easy to understand.
With just a few hours of use you get used to it and start to have very good results.
Other software that fulfills this function well are Rhinoceros and Fusion 360, but these are much more difficult to learn and if you reach the same results as with Moi3D, you will arrive in much less study time.
Moi3d has all the features you get from Rhino through its hundreds of commands.
Rhino can be a better decision if you intend to do work with a high technical level and later use its CAM plugin for your machining.
About Fusion 360 I always say that this software is only used a lot due to Autodesk's wise marketing strategy with the possibility of having it used for a free year, student license, among others.
But in my opinion Fusion is complicated (and expensive) for artists, guitar makers looking for objectivity and fast and satisfying results. And I still add that to this day I have never seen a really natural looking guitar made on it.
I used it myself for 6 months and stopped using it, even though I have experience in SolidWorks with plastic injection mold work. I definitely didn't like Fusion and I don't recommend it. But for those who already use it, they will defend it. But this is a personal matter.
If you still don't use Fusion and don't feel seduced by the fact that you use it for free for a while, if you have time to dedicate yourself to your studies, don't be in a hurry to start making money with your guitars made at CNC I recommend you to evaluate using Rhino or Moi3D.

The guitar is completely made on Aspire resources. It is not done nothing out of the Aspire. All that can be seen in the video, was created within the software.
This video is revealing and nothing is hidden. You really learn to make your guitar.
